It is a new age when it comes to warfare. Drones strikes have become the alternative for combating the enemy instead of putting US soldiers in harm’s way. In 2002 the Pentagon held 50unmanned predator drones, but today the number has swollen to over 7,000 and recently Congress asked for additional funding to expand the program. In Pakistan these US drones have killed many innocent civilians and now numerous family members of those slaughtered are speaking out. David Swanson, campaigner for Roots Actions, joins us with more on the US drone program.
